V SOLIDARITY PARADE OF MASTECTOMIZED WOMEN

The 5th Solidarity Fashion Show of the Antequera Association with Mastectomized Women (AAMM) managed to attract a large number of people to the Antequera Hotel last Saturday, where this activity was carried out aimed at obtaining funds for the association and contributing to the maintenance of the wig bank.

The event, which has proudly carried the motto "Always me: strength, will and courage", began with the intervention of the presenter Jesús Navarro, and was introduced by the appearance of a short film by Paco León that sought to raise awareness among those present with the example of women who have passed this disease.

The audiovisual, which is titled 'the return to the omelette', caused a great impact on the attendees who applauded strongly this first emotional act of the night. Later the parade took place, which was offered by brave women of the association who have suffered from breast cancer or who have undergone mastectomization, demonstrating with this act their integrity in having overcome the disease. The members of the association made four fashion passes, in which they wore swimsuits first, followed by casual clothing, flamenco dresses, cocktail designs and finally a party dress.

During the event, Jenny and Juanma from the Academia Jennifer Antequera and the well-known singer of “Se Copla”, Ismael Carmona, who delighted the public with well-known songs from the Andalusian couplet, also performed. The collaborating firms of the show were Ortosol de Málaga, Confecciones Rivera, Isamobel, Patro Flamenca, Amelia Moda y Complementos, Antequeruela, Amonea, Atenea Ceremonias, + Trucos, Carlota Modas and Mi Mantilla. The makeup was done by the Sonia Melero Aesthetic Center and the hair salon by Berna Galán.

The president of the association, Reme Valencia, made an appearance to everyone's surprise with a mantilla suit from Cofradía de Gloria and the councilor for Citizen Participation, Mª Dolores Gómez, did the same with one from Cofradía de Pasión, both from the firm "Mi Mantilla "run by Censi Sevilla that was widely applauded by all present. The parade was attended by the political parties of the city represented by its mayor: Manuel Barón. The president of the group, Reme Valencia, was in charge of closing the event thanking the attendance of the public present.
